What is epilepsy?  Epilepsy is a chronic disorder that causes unprovoked, recurrent seizures.  Epilepsy is a fairly common neurological disorder that affects 65 million people around the world. In the United States, it affects about 3 million people. In the UK, 600,000 or one in every 103 people has epilepsy. Every day in the UK, 87 people are diagnosed with epilepsy.   What is a Seizure? A seizure is a sudden rush of electrical activity in the brain. There are two main types of seizures. Generalized seizures affect the whole brain. Focal, or partial seizures, affect just one part of the brain. A mild seizure may be difficult to recognize. It can last a few seconds during which you lack awareness. Stronger seizures can cause spasms and uncontrollable muscle twitches, and can last a few seconds to several minutes. During a stronger seizure, some people become confused or lose consciousness. Amway Reports Sales of $8.8 Billion USD in 2018

On February 11th 2019 Amway  announced sales of $8.8 billion USD for the year ending Dec. 31, 2018, a two percent increase over 2017 sales numbers. It was stated that growth was broad-based across many of Amway’s top markets including China, the U.S., Thailand and India, delivering an expected turnaround as the company enters its 60 th year of doing business. Amway Co-Chairman Steve Van Andel stated that“Amway’s growth in sales is a result of the sharp focus on the experience Amway Business Owners and their customers have buying, selling and using Amway products,” Amway attributes sales growth to significant investments in digital tools and mobile experiences as well as product innovations that have helped ABOs attract and retain more customers. This includes enabling more ecommerce and social selling, connecting additional products with digital experiences, and personalizing more nutrition and beauty products.
